IBM Debuts New Social Media Analytics Tool
Is this the start of better sentiment analysis tools? It has been hard to find good tools that will provide an accurate reading of true customer sentiment about a company's products and the competition on the social web. A number of companies have been working on this problem for a while now, but the a good tool has been elusive. Early reactions seem to be good. This will be an interesting space to watch, particularly as the information from these tools start to make their way into other applications. We may soon see some of the power of the Real-Time web with these and related tools.
